Aaron Lebovitz is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, photographer, and writer. Trained in classical violin starting at the age of 9, and by the age of 12 picking up the guitar. Soon he began learning other instruments such as viola and bass. Starting in middle school he began taking advanced music theory, guitar lessons, and playing within ensembles at the City Music Center of Duquesne University. At Mt. Lebanon High School, he performed in the symphony orchestra, choir, and jazz ensemble. By the time he graduated high school, some of his accomplishments included playing violin and guitar with Mark Wood formerly of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City with the Mt. Lebanon High School Symphony Orchestra.
After graduating high school, he began his collegiate career at Duquesne University, studying Music Technology at the Mary Pappert School of Music focusing on Electronic Composition. Here he began to pick up photography as a hobby that would later become a profession. At Duquesne he has performed in the Pappert Mens Chorale as a tenor. Played guitar, bass, and percussion for the Duquesne Pep Band. And, performed on guitar and violin for the Duquesne University Electronic Ensemble. During college he also joined the band Winchester Ghosts playing bass and singing backup vocals. Post graduation he is working as a photographer and musician.
